First Communion Dress

The big moment has arrived! Your daughter’s First Communion is an event for which you have been preparing for months and that has a great meaning for the whole family.

I know that day can be crazy among thousands of preparations but it's all worth it because you are preparing the best memories together.

Imagine your daughter walking towards the sacrament wearing a beautiful and well-kept gown. Your girl’s smile and the excitement of the long-awaited moment will be immortalized in the photos and the beautiful attire that you and she had chosen with much love. We know that the rush and the preparation of so many details at the same time may not help you to keep every single detail in order.

Wearing a formal outfit for the First Communion is important because it is something that happens once in a lifetime; this event opens a path of blessings in the life of your daughter. It's quite a moment, isn't it? You need to make it look as good as possible!

Wearing one of the Sparkly Gowns at her First Communion looks magical! Do you know why?

The light colors represent the spiritual brightness of the great moment and the delicacy of the innocence of your daughter. All of that is deeply connected and aligned with the Spirit of the beautiful moment and that's why the dress looks amazing, it spreads magic all over the place.

As an expert dressing hundreds of children for this big day, I'll give you some tips.

First Communion's Outfit checklist to not miss a thing

It is important to us that every detail associated with the dress looks nice, without wrinkles, clean and perfect. That's why I created a list for you so that you don't miss even the smallest detail on the day of the communion.

So, my  recommendation is that you write down (or better yet, download the file) with the following list of things you need, to have the perfect gown for your child's first communion day:

  1. Lay out every detail of her outfit the night before the big day and go bed early.
  2. Prepare her favorite breakfast.
  3. Get up early and take a relaxing bath to avoid or minimize the stress or anxiety of the moment.
  4. Moisturize her skin with a soft scents body lotion.
  5. Get her hair done. Reserve her accessories for later
  6. Start wearing a soft and delicate underwear, preferably white.
  7. Slip the tights on her legs if she decided to wear it. White tights or a soft color that blends with the skin. Tights are super important (you can buy 2 pairs so you can try one the day before).
  8. Wear the under-skirt (petticoat) made of soft but firm fabric, it is important that the rubber or adjustment at the waist area is comfortable so that it does not produce discomfort to the hours of use.
  9. Put on the Sparkly Gowns dress, some dresses have a large line of buttons and it takes time, tie the sash bow, use a mirror while putting it on to see the fit. All gowns need a magic moment to be appreciated! Don't forget take a lot of pictures of this beautiful moment!
  10. Attach her hair accessories.
  11. It is traditional in many families to use a chain with religious symbols that represent the moment.
  12. Put on her clean white- or cream-colored shoes (it is also recommendable to wear them a few hours the day before).
  13. Put her gloves on.
  14. Use a delicate perfume, it is recommended that it is made with floral essences.
  15. Don't forget to pray. May God’s light guide you!

The last step but not least is to appreciate the whole outfit next to your girl with love. Take a few minutes to show affection and take care of the details of the whole look. The day your daughter has been waiting for is finally here! I hope she enjoys the occasion as well as the whole family.

Now, she looks great, ready to live a wonderful day and create memories all together that will last the rest of her life.

    Enjoy your Sparkly Gown!

    With love,
